"USB-to-CAN compact" is a low-cost active CAN module for connection to an
USB bus. The 16-bit microcontroller system enables a safe
and lossless sending and receiving of messages in CAN networks with high
transfer rates and busloads. Messages are marked with a timestamp and can be
filtered and buffered direct in the "USB-to-CAN compact". The module can
be
used as a master for example in a CANopen system with many clients, too.
In combination with the provided universal CAN driver VCI the "USB-to-CAN compact"
enables an easy integration of PC assisted applications in CAN-systems.
Because of an interesting price and compact mounting form the "USB-to-CAN
compact" is outstanding for use in batch production, and in combination with the
CAN-analyzer for developing, service and maintenance.
