CANit-Series

With the CANit series multiple powerful CANopen-I/O-Modules for 24V applications are available. The CANit modules have different I/O configurations. You can choose between open-front plastic housing or closed aluminium housing. Both are suitable for mounting on carrier rail. The modules could be bought also without any housing for directly mounting in a CANopen device or machine.

The digital I/Os are designed in voltage switching PNP-Logic. The outputs are overload and short circuit protected. All I/Os feature LEDs. Status LEDs for the CAN-bus are implemented, too.

The CANopen agrees with DS401. The node ID and baudrates are adjustable by DIP-switches. Furthermore the bus termination resistor can be activated via DIP-switch. The following PDO transmission modes according to DS301 are supported: event controlled, synchronous, asynchronous, cyclic, acyclic, remote frame related. The CAN-bus matches standard ISO11898, using bus transceiver 82C251 and is galvanical isolated from the I/Os.
